Angus Ski Club is a small friendly club run by a committee of volunteers and is a non-commercial enterprise.
The club is affiliated to Snowsport Scotland which is the sports governing body. This affiliation entitles members to worldwide civil liability insurance when skiing. Club members also receive discounts on lift passes at most Scottish Ski resorts.
A major benefit of the club is that members gain access to the dry ski slope located within the RM Condor military base just outside Arbroath.
Sessions take place between 19:00 and 21:00 hours on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout most of the winter months.
First time skiers and improvers will benefit from lessons provided by the club instructors who are all qualified via the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) scheme.
Competent skiers are also welcome to join the club and take advantage of brushingup on their technique at the dry ski slope.
In addition to skiing at RM Condor the club also organises trips to Scottish Ski Centres and the real snow slope in Braehead, Glasgow.
